Motshoganetsi said the DCEC acknowledges that there were some administrative faults as opposed to criminal conduct. He indicated that they have carried out their investigations but could not find any criminal conduct. "It is maladministration or a situation conducive to corruption but it does not amount to corruption," he said.
Motshoganetsi, however, said DCEC is going to give some recommendations to the concerned parties so that in future they can be aware of such faults that can breed corruption. The investigations have been ongoing since 2004, said Motshoganetsi and added that the report was availed to the DCEC Director, Tymon Katlholo last week.
