Mourning Joseph Lisindi

The Executive Chairman of the Human Resource Development Advisory Council (HRDAC), Joseph Lisindi, died last Friday after a short illness.

Lisindi was appointed to the position by President Ian Khama in 2009 and was tasked with addressing the problem of matching training programmes to the needs of industry. He was also the Managing Director of LCM Management and Business Development Consultants. Lisindi was an Organisational Development Consultant and worked both in Botswana and in the broader SADC region.

He held a Masters Degree in Public Administration, specialising in Human Resource Management and Development and a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. In addition, Lisindi attended many short courses and training workshops both as a trainee and a trainer and made numerous presentations on human resource management development and leadership.
