Moupo sick

Leader of the opposition Botswana National Front, Otsweletse Moupo (BNF) has not attended Parliament since Tuesday.

Security at Parliament was informed yesterday that Moupo is on two days' sick leave raising doubts about whether he will be able to respond to the 2008/2009 budget speech. Moupo's leave ends today suggesting that he ought to be present in Parliament tomorrow.

This comes at a time when the majority of members of parliament have already commented on the speech.
