Moupo challenges Khama not to dodge TV debate

There are fears that President Ian Khama will avoid a debate with the leaders of the two main opposition parties, the Botswana National Front's (BNF) Otsweletse Moupo and the Botswana Congress Party's (BCP) Gilson Saleshando, on national television.

The much-anticipated debate is scheduled for tomorrow and is meant for presidential candidates to slug it out live on Btv.

However, information reaching Mmegi indicates that Khama is not sufficiently prepared to participate in what is expected to be a no-holds-barred thrash-out.
