Motswaledi
The body is expected to arrive in a procession from Lyn’s Funeral Home. The general public will have the chance to pay their last respects to the 44-year-old Botswana Movement for Democracy (BMD) president up to 11am at the Trinity Church, UDC president Duma Boko told a press briefing yesterday. “We have discussed with the family and have agreed that Motswaledi’s body will lie in state before it departs to his home village. The viewing will be from morning to 11am,” Boko said.
Motswaledi died in a car accident on Wednesday morning, a few kilometers from Ramatlabama just before Pitshane. There have been allegations of foul play with some suspecting that the accident was staged. Motswaledi will be buried on Friday in his home village of Serowe.
