PALAPYE: Motlakase goalkeeper Daniel Kedidimetse could be jailed if he fails again to show up in court, the magistrate here, Gofaone Mosweu warned him Friday.

Kedidimetse is facing a single charge of defilement that allegedly happened on July 6, 2013 at Lerala village. Mosweu warned him he could be locked up even before the resolution of his case after the goal-keeper failed to appear in court last week Tuesday. According to state prosecutor, Moses Serojane, the trial was meant to commence last week, but  the accused did not attend the session because he had confused his set dates.

“The trial could not commence on Tuesday due to non-attendance of the accused who claimed to be confused by the trial dates,” said Serojane. In her response, Mosweu notified the accused to take court business seriously especially during trial sessions.
