The speakers believe that it is time residents of Bophirima ward vote for someone who they trust with their lives and also for a person who has been voluntarily working for them as Mothei has. When speaking at their rally at Bophirima ward, the Assistant Minister for Presidential Affairs, Governance and Public Administration Meshack Mthimukhulu said the history and dedication that Mothei has displayed in the ward speaks for itself since the time she became a member of the Ward Development Committee and other social welfare committees.
“I do not see why residents of Bophirima ward cannot vote for Mothei. You need to vote for someone who has that love to transform your lives and also who could advocate the development of the ward. Mothei is the only rightful candidate as compared with others who are still fighting for themselves.
