More medical experts to come from China

Botswana will receive the 13th team of medical experts from China that is expected to work in various areas including HIV/AIDS and malaria.

The two governments signed a protocol agreement on Friday at the ministry headquarters in Gaborone.

The Minister of Health, Reverend Dr John Seakgosing said that he will send a delegation to China to select 46 medical personnel under various specialties namely anaesthetists, urologists, obstetricians and gynaecologists, ear, nose and throat surgeons, radiologists, acupuncturists, oncologists, orthopaedic surgeons, paediatricians, ophthalmologists, intensive care nurses, theatre nurses as well as neonatal nurses.
