Molutsi hails new research ministry

Former Human Resource Development Council (HRDC) chief, Dr Patrick Molutsi has hailed the birth of the Ministry of Tertiary Education, Research, Science and Technology. A passionate researcher, Molutsi has long advocated for the development of the country’s research profile in order to inform development and innovation.

In an interview, Molutsi told Mmegi that policies, work and practice in general, should be research based as that approach provides a formula to measure progress and failure.

“Investing in that particular process is critical as we are living in a world where everything is a product of research,” Molutsi said.
