Molefe finally applies for bail

The third accused in the case in which a man was killed at a football game in Ledumadumane, Montwedi Molefe, told Village Magistrate Ephraith Ndegwa that he has filed a bail application with the High Court in Lobatse.

Molefe, who is currently remanded at the Gaborone Central Prison, told Ndegwa that he made an application after the presiding magistrate had earlier on asked him why he did not do that as his co-accused had done so last month.

Molefe and his co-accused, who are currently on bail, appeared for mention on Monday morning. He and Mabogo Lesotho and Kgololo Lesotho are facing a single count of murder. It is alleged that the three men, and another accused person still on the run, acted together in killing Ishmael Moseki after an augment at a football game in Ledumadumane in February this year.
