Molatlhegi eyes Gaborone South seat

Nominated councillor Kagiso Molatlhegi hopes to take the bull by the horns when he contests the Gaborone South constituency during the 2009 general election.

The Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) central committee recently gave the Serowe-born politician the go-ahead after he stood unopposed as a candidate for Gaborone South parliamentary primary elections.

Regarding the challenge ahead, he quoted the biblical account of the fight between David and Goliath. Molatlhegi is optimistic that he would make it to Parliament come 2009.
