Mohembo ferry out of service, delays movement

FRANCISTOWN: Maun police officer commanding, Chabaesele Kesupetswe said for the last couple of weeks the Mohembo Ferry has been out of service thus affecting people trying to cross the Okavango River.

He said that residents of Mohembo and other villages across the river depend on the ferry to cross over to places such as Maun and have been struggling due to the situation.

Kesupetswe said that the ferry is used to transport residents and their cars across and the situation has affected them badly.
