Mogoditshane SSS opens with 1,400 students

Mogoditshane Senior Secondary School opened its doors to students for the first time yesterday.

The school, which has admitted 1,400 students from within the southern region, was expected to have its first intake last term, but remained empty for the first three months due to late Form Three examination results.

Speaking at the orientation for students and parents, held at the main hall yesterday, school head Belpet Kauraisa said they still have many challenges ahead. "This is the first school in history that will have boarders but no teachers living on campus," he said.
