Botswana Teachers Union (BTU) has pledged to heed the call to come on board and adopt Mogoditshane Senior Secondary School with a view to helping the school overcome facilities challenges to perform according to the public expectations as a centre of excellence and a boarding school.

Mogoditshane Senior head teacher, Kesaobaka Matsoma, used the opportunity as the host of Southern African Teachers’ Organisation (SATO) games to plead with the BTU to consider adopting her school and relieve it of pressures, in particular, pleading for a car and copier donation.

Matsoma said the boarding school has for a long time been without transport that could be used to run school errands, including transporting students during emergencies, especially at night when there is no nurse to attend to them.

Don't let FMD outbreak drag on
