Mogoditshane Sub-Land Board Secretary Anthony Bashingi failed to show up at the Kgotla meeting arranged by Member of Parliament (MP) Patrick Masimolole for Mogoditshane at Tsolamosese Block four in Rantutu ward on Friday.

This special meeting was scheduled by Masimolole who is also the Assistance Minister of Education Wednesday at the main Kgotla after Block Four residents dismissed Village Development Committee (VDC) Chairperson Phillip Kgomo's claims that the sub-land board has made progress in solving pending land issues in the constituency.

In the previous meeting (on Wednesday) Bashingi pointed out that they were working hand in hand with Botswana Power Cooperation (BPC) to bring developments to Block Four but their (sub-land board) numerous invitations to Water Utilities Cooperation (WUC) were futile. He agreed to show up to the Friday meeting where the MP called the concerned parties (BCP and WUC) to address the residents.
