The Botswana Movement for Democracy (BMD) chairperson, Nehemiah Modubule says he has no intention to contest for party presidency in the upcoming party congress on December 3.

Yesterday, Modubule told the media that he can only become party president if party members say so. Modubule doubles up as the BMD president following the resignation of Sidney Pilane last week. 

Four people who will represent BMD in the Umbrella for Democratic Change (UDC) include Tlamelo Mmatli, Gilbert Mangole, Percy Bakwena and Modubule.
