Modubule advises new BMD youth committee against lobby lists

SELEBI-PHIKWE: The Botswana Movement for Democracy (BMD) national chairman, Nehemiah Modubule has urged his party's youth against the use of lobby lists, saying they breed disunity and infighting.

Endorsing the first-ever BMD youth committee elected here over the weekend, Modubule said the party strictly did not condone the use of lobby lists. He warned that they would not hesitate to institute necessary action against those who flouted the rule.

"We want discipline in the organisation and the use of lobby lists must stop. We know the results of lobby lists.
They just draw a line between party members. We experienced what lobby lists can do from our former political parties," he said.
