Mochudi tower suspects too clever for police

Two weeks after a Mascom communications tower was vandalised in Mochudi, the police have not made any arrests.

Assistant Commissioner, Christopher Mbulawa said yesterday that they have not arrested anybody in connection with the damage that is estimated at thousands of Pula. He appealed to members of the public, who may have information on the culprits, to come forward to report to the police.

The tower, which is located near the residence of Bakgatla paramount chief was damaged after a Kgotla meeting in Mochudi was told that it poses a health risk. It was revealed at the meeting that the chief was not living at the residence because of the tower.
