Miss Universe Botswana Contestants Lose Case

Miss Universe Botswana 2013 finalists who dragged organisers of the pageant and the queen before court last month have lost their case.

In a temporary ruling, Justice David Newman of the Gaborone High Court on Friday dismissed the nine applicants' argument that the contract each entered into with the organisers had clauses against public policy.

Newman argued that the whole contract could not be nullified because of a few clauses deemed anti-public policy.
