Ministry of health on ebola alert

The Botswana government is very alert and prepared. There are identified isolation facilities for any eventualities. Screening is being intensified especially at the airport. Daily monitoring (surveillance) is ongoing with senior management receiving reports daily.

The Ministry of Health has prepared and distributed Information, Education and Communication materials in the form of posters, and pamphlets. We have also conducted radio interviews through Tsa Boitekanelo and Gabz Fm to explain further about the virus and what the government is doing.
