Mfa soldiers on despite presidential term row

Although he has come under fire for his recent utterances that President Ian Khama should serve a third term, Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) politician, Oliphant Mfa remains defiant as ever.

Mfa recently proposed that the presidential term of office should be extended to 15 years because it is becoming costly to maintain former presidents after every 10 years.

However, Mfa WHO has been vilified and called names following his comments, says he does not know what the fuss is about.  Mfa, also the assistant Minister of Local Government as well as MP for Nata-Gweta, says he will not apologise because he has done nothing wrong.
