Merafhe launches another Khama

SEROWE: Vice President Mompati Merafhe has encouraged Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) faithfuls in the Serowe North West constituency to desist from infighting saying it could cost the party dearly.

He was speaking at the well attended launch of the BDP candidate in the June 21 parliamentary by-election in the Serowe North West constituency, Tshekedi Khama, President, Ian Khama's younger brother. The rally was held at an open space at the Basimane ward last Sunday.

"I want to encourage you to give the party candidate your full support in the coming by-election. You should join forces to defeat Gagolepe Nthebolang, the Botswana National Front candidate," said Merafhe to loud cheers from the ecstatic crowd.
