Member States Must Obey Rules-WHO

Although international health regulations have always been there, they were weak, a WHO official has said.

Health Promotion Information Officer at WHO, Moagi Gaborone said at the end of a week-long meeting that now the health regulations have been strengthened and they are legally binding on member states.

The 14 SADC member states had converged at the Gaborone International Convention Centre (GICC) last week to discuss issues on health promotion capacity strengthening.
