Meet The Five BDP Moshupa-Manyana Hopefuls

Moshupa-Manyana constituency is a Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) stronghold. With that said, it is not surprising that five members of the party will be battling it out for the seat left vacant by now President Mokgweetsi Masisi. The Monitor Staff Writers Innocent Selatlhwa and Tsaone Basimanebotlhe visited the constituency over the weekend to profile BDP candidates

Karabo Gare

The youngest of the five candidates is 38-year-old Karabo Gare. He is said to be the one preferred by President Mokgweetsi Masisi. Gare, an accountant by training, was born and raised in Moshupa. He has worked for Botswana Railways, Botswana National Sports Council and Local Enterprise Authority (LEA) before quitting to be self-employed.
