Mayor outlines FCC achievements

FRANCISTOWN. The mayor, Buti Billy has said that this year, Francistown City Council (FCC) has assisted 772 needy people.

 "We also assisted 285 home based care patients as well as 1,950 orphans. Orphans were assisted mainly with accommodation as well as their daily food," said Billy in his Independence Day message last week.

To help reduce unemployment in the city, FCC has created 8,000 jobs, through the drought relief programme.
