FRANCISTOWN: Mayor Shadreck Nyeku has appealed to all stakeholders, including individuals, to bail out the Light and Courage Centre Foundation (LCCT), which faces closure due to financial constraints.

LCCT is a foundation in Francistown that gives hope to those living with HIV/AIDS. The eight-year-old centre has been running for the past four years through the help of United States Agency for International Development (USAID) through PEPFAR, but the contract expires on March 31.

Nyeku made the appeal during LCCT partnership forum organised to survey ways and means of keeping the centre alive on Friday. "All business service providing organisations and individuals have been recipients of services from LCCT; so I urge you all to find a way to contribute to the centre. As a community based facility, the centre relies on us to keep going," the mayor said.
