Masitara property under the hammer

It won't be over until Robert Masitara has settled his debt with the Botswana Unified Revenue Services (BURS).

At least this is the feeling one gets after an interview with BURS attorney Sardique Kebonang following a court order by Justice Ian Kirby ordering the Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) politician and businessman to pay BURS an outstanding amount of P889, 687.31 as tax claims covering 2000,2001 and 2002.

"We have received instructions to attach his property," said Kebonang. He revealed that listed items include Masitara's house in Tlokweng, and two Mercedes Benz vehicles.
