President Mokgweetsi Masisi and his predecessor, Ian Khama are both attending the inauguration of Lesotho Prime Minister-Elect, Samuel Matekane today.

According to the Lesotho government website, 32 leaders from around the world have been invited to the inauguration. Khama is on self-exile from Botswana, having left in November 2021 claiming state-led persecution against him and his family. On his official Facebook page last night, Khama shared a picture of him with Matekane
