FRANCISTOWN: The Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) chairperson, Mokgweetsi Masisi, has urged members to jealously safeguard the integrity of the party.

Speaking at the launch of the BDP’s Phillip Matante East by-election candidate Peter Nare over the weekend, Masisi acknowledged that the differences among party members is causing instability.

Just over a week ago, the Francistown East legislator Ignatius Moswaane and the party’s Francistown South chairperson, Ford Moiteela, were involved in a fistfight, over aspects of campaign procedures.
