Masisi spurns Khama, again

After hosting the biggest air race 'Race for Rhinos'over the weekend at Sowa Town, former President Ian Khama found himself stranded few days later. This week President Mokgweetsi Masisi rejected a request by his predecessor, Khama to use a government aircraft to travel to Serowe.

Former president, Khama had earlier this week written to the Office of the President requesting aircraft transportation to Serowe where he is scheduled to address Dikgosi from his home village today.

In response, the Permanent Secretary to the President (PSP) Carter Morupisi wrote to Khama’s office: “I am advised to relay the message to you by His Excellency the President Mokgweetsi Masisi that your request to use an aircraft has been denied.
