Masisi requests P81m for Parliament

The Minister of Presidential Affairs and Public Administration, Mokgweetsi Masisi has requested P81 million for the National Assembly for the financial year 2012-13.

This parked a debate in Parliament as some of the members feel that he did not address important issues.

He said the National Assembly has encountered challenges in project implementation due to shortages of funds. He said due to shortage of funds, a decision was taken to give refurbishment of the parliamentary flats priority and defer construction of the security fence and visitors' centre.
