Mashaba still holding electorates in suspense

SELEBI-PHIKWE: Councillor Kosy Mashaba who recently ditched Botswana Congress Party is still holding his electorates in suspense as he has not stated which party he is joining with the BCP seat.

Councillor Mashaba who made critical statements about the BCP when he resigned from the party in December 12 attended the recent special council meeting without any political party tag around his neck.

Despite the ruling party leadership confirming that he has joined them Mashaba said during the last interview, that he has not joined the ruling party and is still consulting with his voters on what transpired to warrant his resignation from the party.  "I had signed to unseat the ruling party and that was my objective with BCP. I would rather join the two opposition parties BNF and BMD which have the same aim as the BCP," he said.
