Masa 2020 expected to revive BPC

The assistant minister of Health and Wellness, Phillip Makgalemele said he was confident that the Masa 2020 restructuring strategy would resuscitate the Botswana Power Corporation (BPC).

Responding to a parliamentary question, Makgalemele pointed out that even though BPC did not make any profit during the last few years he was confident that through the implementation of the restructuring strategy the situation would change.

The five-year strategy is a transformation journey to realise BPC’s vision of being “a leading power utility in the region” by 2020.  It seeks to turn the corporation into a profitable and efficient entity by 2020.
