Manhunt on for runaway Zim rape suspect

* Second suspect arrested on Sunday

MOGODITSHANE: Police have re-arrested one of two suspects who escaped from the Mogoditshane Police Station last  Wednesday night. The two are Zimbabweans Tawanda Pangane, who is facing a charge of burglary and theft, and Lloyd Mwanza, who is wanted in connection with rape.

Pangane was re-arrested on Sunday. The Deputy Station Commander at Mogoditshane Police Assistant Superintendent Mothusi Merementsi confirmed the escape and said that they now have a lead on the whereabouts of Mwanza. He said they have been informed that the suspect was seen somewhere around the Gaborone Bus rank.
