Mangole attacks BCP for quitting Umbrella

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Kgatleng West, Gilbert Mangole has castigated the Botswana Congress Party (BCP) for its withdrawal from opposition talks.

Speaking at a rally organised by the Botswana National Front (BNF) at the Gaborone bus rank yesterday evening, the Kgatleng legislator said it was disgusting because BCP was the one, which consulted other parties to form an umbrella alliance.

"This is the same party which wrote a letter to us and later withdrew from the talks," he said. Further, he said BCP politicians continue to insult BMD, calling it names, "Ba re bitsa madongwana, le dithokolosi," (They call us young democrats and thokoloshis).
