Man shot dead in Western Union robbery

FRANCISTOWN: A man was shot and later died when armed men stormed the Francistown Western Union branch on Saturday morning.

The robbery comes only a few weeks after Standard Chartered Bank, Francistown branch, was hit by robbers who got away with about P180,000.

Francistown Police Station Commander superintendent Cyprian Magalela confirmed that they are investigating a murder and armed robbery case that took place at the Western Union premises on Saturday.
