Man Pleads Not Guilty

FRANCISTOWN: An employee of the Water Affairs Department in Francistown appeared before magistrate Peggy Madandume on two counts of threats to kill and unlawful wounding.Justice Uzisi, 46, pleaded not guilty to the charges.

It is alleged that on September 7, 2007, at Block 4 location, Uzisi threatened his wife, Maggie Usizi, that he would kill her unless she stopped shoplifting.

"I am just from collecting a fire arm licence from the police and I am going to kill you," Uzisi is alleged to have said.
