Man killed in a hit-and-run

Police in Mahalapye are appealing to members of the public to help identify an unidentified man believed to be in his late 50s or early 60s who was killed in a suspected hit-and-run accident along the A1 Highway on Sunday night.

Confirming the incident, Mahalapye Central Police Station acting commander, Superintendent Malakia Gabana, said police received a report of the matter at around 8pm on Sunday.

Gabana said the incident occurred near the Kwape cattle post, about two kilometres from Mahalapye.
