Man in court for failing to pay outstanding car balance

A 43-year-old man appeared before the Urban Customary court in Bontleng for not paying an outstanding P1,100 balance for a car he had purchased from a friend.

 

The court heard that Kirodi Shonhiwa, who resides at Mmopane, failed to pay Mooketsi Sebetlela the remaining balance since 2012.  Sebetlela told the court that he sold his car to Shonhiwa in 2011 and he promised to pay the balance but instead paid in small amounts until he stopped in 2012.
