Man-hunt on for suspected murderer

FRANCISTOWN: Palapye police are looking for a man who allegedly stabbed another man to death last Sunday after he suspected the man was in love with his girlfriend.

Palapye station commander Superintendent Kenneth Masole yesterday confirmed  that his officers are investigating the incident which occurred in the streets of Khurumela ward at around 5.30 pm."There is a suspicion that the duo were in love with one woman and the suspect, who is still at large stabbed the deceased to death with a sharp instrument before he disappeared," said Masole.

He said the deceased was 32 years of age and hailed from Majwaneng village in Tswapong. About four days before the alleged murder,  Masole pointed out that the suspect had assaulted the deceased over allegations that he was dating his girlfriend.
