FRANCISTOWN: Following a suicide report, police in the second city are investigating an incident in which a man in his 30s was found dead at the Area S locatio

Central Police Station acting commander, Assistant Superintendent Douglas Khumalo, said that they received a report about the incident on Saturday. He said that the deceased was found hanging by a rope from the rafters.

He revealed that they have not yet been able to determine the reason behind the man's killing himself because the deceased did not leave a suicide note behind. Khumalo encouraged people to get professional help or family elder assistance before taking their own lives. He stated that taking one's own life has never been a solution and that it just causes suffering for those who are left behind. On a different note, Khumalo stated that their policing area had a calm weekend aside from the suicide incident. He praised the communities they serve for their outstanding and admirable behaviour, adding that they did not record any serious crimes in the policing area. He stated that the community should keep up its upright conduct.
