PALAPYE: A 37-year-old man died after a Toyota Hilux Surf motor vehicle he was driving hit a tree on Saturday night around 9pm along the Palapye-Serowe road.

Serowe police acting station commander, assistant superitendent Molefhe Molefhe said the accident happened when the deceased and a passenger were travelling from here to Serowe.

He said they suspect that the driver died when he lost control of the vehicle and hit a nearby tree, in the process injuring the passenger.
