Mupane general manager, Cedric Sam confirmed the incident in an interview with Mmegi. Indications are that the 50-year-old employee sustained fatal injuries when the tyre he was pumping exploded. “I cannot go into details about the incident, but I can certainly confirm that one of our mechanics died while inflating a tyre for one our LHD loaders.
