Man demands compensation for loss of business

FRANCISTOWN: A senior traffic officer has been dragged before court as a witness in a case involving a goods transporter and officials of the Francistown Bus, Truck and Taxi Association (BTTA).

A man who makes a living through delivering goods all over the country, has lodged a case with the Francistown Magistrate Court, demanding compensation for loss of business from the association.

Appearing before magistrate Jennifer Chikati, Mojiwa Mojiwa said on September 3 last year, Tymon Matebesi, the chairperson of the association and his assistant Buti Monageng confronted him as he was loading goods destined for the Kazungula border.
