Man blames alcohol for reckless behaviour

A 36 year-old man blamed his reckless behaviour on alcohol after being dragged before Urban Customary Court president Dikwalo Monametsi for common nuisance.

Matseba Mosetlhe of Tlokweng appeared before the court after insulting and threatening to stab Malebogo Modiseng, a shop assistant at a Chinese shop in Bontleng.

The court learnt that Mosetlhe who was drunk on April 7, 2014 went to the shop where the complainant works, insisting to be sold a cigarette. He was told by Modiseng that the shop does not sell cigarettes, but started an argument and demanded to talk to the Chinese superiors.
