Man arraigned for attempting to rape granny

FRANCISTOWN: A 33 year-old man from Mosetse in the Central District was arraigned in court yesterday for attempting to rape a woman more than twice his age.

The state alleges that Jack Sekelemo, attempted to rape the 74 year-old woman in the early hours of October last year at Mosetse.

The accused pleaded not guilty to the charge. The prosecutor, Oteng Selalame told Principal Magistrate, Dumisani Basupi that investigations into the matter are complete.
