FRANCISTOWN: A 23-year-old man of Malatswai village is hospitalised after he was stabbed four times with a screwdriver by another man, 29, following accusations that the former was snatching his 45-year-old girlfriend.

According to No2 District Officer Commanding, Senior Superintendent Paul Oketsang said that they have arrested the 29-year-old man in connection to the unlawful wounding of the younger man. He said that the suspect was arrested after he stabbed a 23-year-old man thrice in the back and once in the mouth with a screwdriver.

“The two unemployed males were drinking at a local depot and the suspect started accusing the 23-year-old of snatching his girlfriend. The duo then exchanged words followed by blows.
