Maintain homes, tenants tell BHC

Speaking at the first ever BHC public meeting held to sample people's views in the Francistown Civic Centre Hall, tenants expressed their disappointment with the parastatal over a variety of issue. Senior BHC Estates Manager for Northern Region, Olefile Segokgo at some stage had to calm rising tempers and explain various technicalities involved in their operations.

Segokgo explained the lease agreement, its content and implications. He also highlighted BHC's concerns regarding their relationship with tenants.  During question time, some of the tenants complained about bursting water pipes, lack of maintenance of Old Minestone low cost houses, lease renewals and sub-letting.
