The Member of Parliament for Gaborone South North, Akanyang Magama has advised his constituents to utilise government schemes and programmes to better their lives. He said this last Wednesday in a consultation kgotla meeting at Tshwaragano Primary School in Naledi North. "Use the schemes and programmes government has set up to improve your lives," he urged them.

The MP encouraged the youth to apply for Young Farmers Fund (YFF) at Citizen Entrepreneurial Agency (CEDA) to earn a living and create employment for other youths who are roaming the streets. "The maximum loan from CEDA for YFF is half a million with an annual interest of five percent," he said.

He said that though he understands that the money is not sufficient for a viable business under the youth grant, they could seek clarification from the relevant authorities such as the ministry of agriculture, youth department and CEDA for more information on the schemes.
