Elections are as unpredictable as the weather. Anything can happen. Look around the political landscape and ask those who stood for elective office.

Almost everyone was sure of a win, except for a few, like one candidate in Molepolole South (name withheld) who told an opponent, while waiting for results that: "I know I will lose. I am just trying to represent my party".

Even the likes of MELS' Themba Joina and others whose support base is minimal had expected to win. Comparatively, it can be said he has won, looking at the fact that he has progressed from a paltry 15 in 2004 to 85 in these general elections in the Mogoditshane constituency. It is a considerable growth and even though he did not win or come near his opponents, in his own way he sees success.
